On our last lesson, we talked about the meaning and idea that one small detail can have. After that, we were given a task in which we had to have a conversation with a taxi driver about any detail in his car and its story.

I was lucky to find a driver who agreed to tell his story. When I sat in his car, I saw a  detail immediately: it was prayer beads. It’s a lace with beads for bowing down during prayers and reading prayers. The rest of the text will be written on his behalf. 

It all started from the school. I liked the girl from my class, but I did not know how to get to know her more closely. She was interested in handiwork, and for this reason I asked to make beads for me. Actually I just wanted to see her more often, and with every meeting I fell in love with her more and more. I remember those moments spent with her as yesterday. Every time, I was convinced that she was the one with whom I want to share my life. Beads was ready after one week. 

After receiving them, without hesitation, I hung them on the rearview mirror of my car. Since then, it has always been with me, and they still will be, no matter what car I have. To some this may seem like a trifle, but to me they mean a lot. Because it reminds me of “the first page of our book”. To this day, the beads is a symbol of our love.

I think the main idea of this beautiful story is love. Lots of couples have something that is connected with their first date, first kiss or first meeting and it’s always important and memorable. From this cute story, we can understand that even a little detail can be very meaningful and big for someone, especially if it’s a gift from a special person.
